Sheraton Saigon unveils handcrafted dragon boat dumplings

Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel is celebrating the Dragon Boat Festival on May 31, 2025, with a luxurious culinary offering from Li Bai Restaurant—authentic handcrafted Cantonese zongzi, also known as dragon boat dumplings, prepared by chefs with over three decades of experience.

The dragon boat dumplings feature premium glutinous rice fillings wrapped in imported bamboo leaves. Ingredients include classic choices such as pork, mung beans, salted egg yolk, lotus seeds, and shiitake mushrooms, alongside gourmet additions like abalone, scallops, foie gras, Iberico smoked ham, and soy tempeh for vegetarian options.

Li Bai’s Sous Chef Diep Nhieu noted that the dishes reflect both culinary craftsmanship and the team’s passion for preserving and refining traditional flavors.
