HCMC – FPT Corporation (HOSE: FPT) has inked deals with Indonesia’s Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas) and five major universities, opening up major opportunities in digital transformation and high-quality human resource development.

A 2025-2030 memorandum of understanding (MOU) between FPT and Bappenas, signed on June 13, marks a key step in Indonesia’s efforts to harness advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), green technology, and smart city solutions.

The cooperation will focus on developing national and sectoral digital transformation roadmaps, with an emphasis on enhancing digital governance capabilities through the implementation of e-Government systems, smart planning, and e-Monitoring platforms.

A key pillar of the partnership is digital workforce development. The two sides will design and implement comprehensive upskilling and reskilling programs in critical fields such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, software engineering, and data science.

As part of its series of activities in Indonesia, FPT also held discussions and signed cooperation agreements with several leading Indonesian universities to transfer training programs in information technology, artificial intelligence, and semiconductors.
